though. For one factor, it is been shown to be a mood stabilizer for people with kind II bipolar disorder and maybe even more effective than medication.
2.Helpful
in type 2 diabetes
Research also suggests
the diet may help people with type 2 diabetes and may result in
improvements in HbA1c levels (though
be warned, it can even result in hypoglycemia if you're taking medication to
lower your blood sugar).

Risks
related to the Keto Diet?
The possible advantages of the diet are impressive, however, there are some potential downsides to notice.
1.It
is hard to follow
It is
difficult to stick to. The diet is pretty hard to follow because it is an entire
shift from what you're eating, Nisevich
Bede says. Slashing your intake of carbs
can even cause you to feel hungrier than usual a sense that may last till
you're three weeks in.
2.Keto
flu
It is also
common for individuals on the diet to experience flu-like symptoms, like headaches
and fatigue. This side effect is thus common that there's a name for it:
the keto
flu.
3.Dehydration
You shed plenty of water weight initially, which may
result in dehydration, Nisevich Bede explains. This will
worsen the symptoms of the keto flu. To
counter it, she recommends staying hydrated and loading up on electrolytes
through electrolyte tablets or Pedialyte. Other potential risks embody urinary organ stones, many nourishment
and mineral deficiencies, reduced bone mineral density, and gastrointestinal distress.
4.Risk
of unhealthy fats
And whereas some fats will be healthy, there's a
risk that in following a high-fat diet,
you increase your intake of unhealthy trans
and saturated fats. These bad fats are found in things like red meat, poultry skin, cheese, and
butter and may result in the raised risk of unhealthy cholesterol and cardiovascular disease.
Warning!
Considering
these risks, those who have excretory organ damage (including those with kind
two diabetes), and people with or at the risk for cardiovascular disease, and
pregnant or breastfeeding ladies shouldn't attempt the keto diet. Also, individuals
with type 1 diabetes shouldn't
follow the plan due to the danger for hypoglycemia
(low blood sugar) and anyone who has had their bladder removed should avoid it
because the diet is thus high in fat.
If you
want to slim down, keep in mind that
the diet probably needs an entire overhaul to the way you usually eat. To be on
the safe side, make sure to discuss with your doctor whether the keto diet
is safe for you to change your eating ways.
Good basic description of the Keto diet. I can’t stick to a strict one, but have cut my carbs by quite a bit. I think a moderated Keto is probably the healthiest.
